"Jungle Bird" Psychotic Who Invaded The U.S. Open Trophy Ceremony Dances Jig Onfield At Notre Dame-Navy Game [UPDATE: Jungle Bird At The Pub After The Game!]
Back in June, we presented video of a man calling himself "Jungle Bird" who invaded Webb Simpson's U.S. Open trophy ceremony with a series of squawks. Jungle Bird showed up again today in Dublin, when he invaded the field to perform a ceremonial jig with a football.
Unlike most fans on the field, Jungle Bird had his antics displayed in full by CBS, much to the amusement of Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson (who did not recognize him). Jungle Bird didn't require an American-style taser-ing or take-down; a simple Irish palm to the chest stopped him. [CBS]
Update (1:38 p.m.): Emmet sends us this photo of Jungle Bird (next to, presumably, Emmet) at Slattery's Pub after the game.
So the crazy guy dancing the jig at the football game drinks? Get out.
